Our Drop-in Care is available by reservation only.  Same-day reservations are available but limited to class size.   

Space is based on availability & subject to capacity according to Office of Child Care Licensing regulations and rules. 

When you bring your child to us for Drop-in Care, they will be grouped in with the rest of our friends that are here that day. Your child will be included in all our normal daily activities such as Circle Time and Large Motor Play, as well as daily projects and classwork. 

We offer Before & After Care for Pointer's Run, Dayton Oaks, Swansfield, & Clarksville Elementary Schools.

Our monthly program is tuition based and ensures daily drop off and/or pick up to these schools.  The program includes snack, crafts, activities, homework help, and lots of friends!  

We have part time and occasional drop-in care rates for these programs as well.

We also offer half-day RECC & Pre-K Before and After Care for Dayton Oaks and Pointer's Run Elementary Schools.   Prices vary based on need so please call for a price quote!

Out of necessity, KTO established its School-age Virtual Learning Program in September 2021. This gave parents a place for their children to be able to attend virtual classes when they were not able to work from home. We developed the program to ensure children stayed on task and were signed-in for their daily classes at the appropriate times. Children were given assistance with their classwork and submitting assignments as needed.  While this was an unprecedented program for KTO, we are thankful that the program is currently no longer needed due to the decrease of COVID infection rates and the return to normal school attendance. 

We will reinstate the program again in the future if ever needed.

Kid's Time Out offers an exciting Early Learning Program for children ages 2 to 5 years old.  The program is play based and follows a creative curriculum that gives your child not only a head-start on learning but also emphasizes socialization and emotional development. The program operates September through June, Monday-Friday from 9am and 1pm.  

Extended Care & Part Time Options are available for this program. 

Program operation follows the same calendar schedule as Howard County Public Schools.
